Thomas Rostaing, President of our HEPNA Association, posted the following message on LinkedIn last week:
"Modern aromatherapy is about to undergo a real rethink. This certification, so eagerly awaited by the entire essential oil industry, will highlight the pure, natural qualities of essential oils, so that consumers will no longer have to doubt the safety and effects of what they buy.
What a long way our HEPNA team has come since the beginning... but it's not over yet: the team of French distillers is growing with producers from many countries.
This month I'm meeting producers from Madagascar and the Comoros to set up the next audits there... an organization to be set up with the people in charge in these countries. Images will be shared at the end of the month."
Producers the world over are unanimous: the essential oil industry needs to get back to basics.
